Sylvie Léget is a French-Swiss freelance photographer based in Geneva. A graduate in art history, she specialized in photography at the ICP, International Center of Photography, in New York. Her photographic work is strongly influenced by her former work with humanitarian institutions, which shaped the way she perceives humankind. In a committed approach, both documentary and plastic, Sylvie is interested in the intimacy, the transitions, the solitude of the megalopolises. Giving Birth in Exile was notably exhibited at the No’Photo biennial in Geneva, and as part of the FIFDH, Film Festival and International Forum on Human Rights.
